Weekley climbs to No. 23 in rankings

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Boo Weekley successfully defended his title at the Verizon Heritage on Sunday, a victory that netted him a 24-spot bump to No. 23 in the latest world rankings.
The top five players in the rankings held onto their positions from last week: No. 1 Tiger Woods was followed again by Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Steve Stricker and Geoff Ogilvy.
Jim Furyk tied for fourth at the Heritage and moved up three spots to No. 6, bumping K.J. Choi to seventh. Vijay Singh remained eighth, Justin Rose dropped two places to ninth, while Adam Scott, Padraig Harrington, Rory Sabbatini, Henrik Stenson, Stewart Cink and Trevor Immelman remained in positions 10-15.
Aaron Baddeley tied for second place behind Weekley and got a five-spot bump to 16th in the rankings. Sergio Garcia, Luke Donald, Angel Cabrera, Lee Westwood and Zach Johnson dropped one spot apiece to 17-21.
