Kirilov defeats Santos, retains belt

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Dimitri Kirilov won a majority draw over Cecilio Santos to retain his IBF junior bantamweight at the Roseland Ballroom.
Judges John Epstein and Kevin Morgan both called the 12-round fight at 114-114, but Robert Gilson's scorecard had 116-112 in favor of the Russian Kirilov (29-3-1, 9 KOs).
Santos' record fell to 22-8-3.
